A fatal accident on the night of Holi killed three young men in the Bigod police station region of Bhilwara district. The accident took place late on Thursday evening when a speeding vehicle ran into a motorcycle carrying three people, killing them in the process.
The victims were identified as Ramswaroop Bhil, Bhairu Bhil, and Prahlad Bhil, as per police reports. Their bodies were taken for post-mortem and then released to their bereaved families.
The incident occurred close to Naya Gaon on Kota Highway when the three victims were riding a motorcycle with ration supplies towards Sopura. A speeding vehicle lost control and crashed into their bike, resulting in a disastrous impact.
The blow of the collision was so strong that Ramswaroop and Bhairu were killed instantly by the injuries they received on the road itself, and Prahlad was flung almost 30 feet into a nearby gorge. The dastardly accident sent the region into shock, with onlookers running to the spot in anguish.
As soon as the authorities were informed, a delegation from the nearest police station visited the spot. Ramswaroop and Bhairu were taken to the nearest hospital where they were both pronounced dead upon arrival. A search for the third victim persisted until Friday morning when Prahlad's corpse was found at the gorge.
In the wake of this tragic incident, the victim's families were left heartbroken, grieving over the loss of their loved ones. In the meantime, the police have opened an investigation into the accident to identify the causes behind the crash.
